While this will certainly be one of the rarest brands you’ll see pass through our used vehicle inventory here in Manhattan, Kansas, we recently saw a Fiat vehicle on the lot so we thought we’d highlight them for you. New Fiat vehicles are no longer being sold here in America, unfortunately, as their style isn’t that popular among American shoppers. However, if you’re a fan of their unique body style and design, you’ll be pleased to hear that different versions of the Fiat 500 were available for a short time and thus might pass through our inventory.
Fiat 500
In 2007, Fiat made its triumphant return to the American market with the new 500. Small hatchbacks had seen some success so it was, perhaps, time for Fiat to take another spin in the U.S. The three-door hatchback and two-door cabriolet saw some success until 2019 when it was discontinued once again.
Fiat 500L
In 2014, the Fiat 500L was added to the lineup, a larger version of the 500 that was a small multi-purpose vehicle, perhaps bringing all new meaning to the term minivan. While this model saw some success too, it was competing with juggernauts like the Kia Soul and Honda Civic hatchback, so it was ultimately discontinued in 2020.
Fiat 500X
The final model available here in North America was introduced a couple of years later in 2016, and is perhaps the sleekest model the brand has ever made. As a subcompact crossover, it certainly had a bigger chance of success here in the U.S. In fact, it was still available for the 2023 model year, and might remain so in 2024.
