The vast majority of the used motorcycles that we provide here at Briggs Supercenter are, of course, from the Harley Davidson brand. We do occasionally have models from other brands for sale, such asBMW, Honda and Indian. Perhaps the most popular and exciting models to pass through our inventory, outside of the Harley brand, come from Ducati. Ducati builds excotic sports motorcycles, which makes sense considering they’re owned by Lamborghini. Read on below to learn about some of the options you might see when it comes to used Ducati motorcycles for sale here in Manhattan, Kansas.
Much like its parent company, Ducati is well-known for building high-performance models with incredible designs to match. Most if not all Ducati motorcycles feature large-capacity four-stroke 90-degree V-twin engines that feature a unique desmodromic valve design called L-twin, designed by Ducati himself. Other common design elements include trellis frames, wet clutches and much more.
There are several different classes of motorcycle, and Ducati builds models in several of them. A majority of the models fall into the Standard class, which are your traditional street-use motorcycles. The brand also builds models in the Sport Bike class, which are optimized for speed and handling, the Off-Road class, which is just as it sounds, the Supermotard class, which is for racing, and the Streetfighter class, which is the motorcycle equivalent of a muscle car.
The following models are those that are currently in production by Ducati, and thus the most likely to pass through our inventory: DesertX (Off-Road), Diavel (Standard), Monster (Standard), XDiavel (Standard), Hypermotard (Supermotard), Multistrada (Standard), Panigale (Sport Bike), Streetfighter (Streetfighter), Superleggera (Sport Bike), Supersport (Sport Bike) and Scrambler (Standard).
It’s always exciting to see a Ducati motorcycle pass through our inventory, so be sure to check out what’s available if you think you might be interested. Don’t be afraid to let us know what you’re interested in and we’ll keep our ear to the ground to see if we can track one down for you.
