Many automotive production companies have luxury divisions under different brand names. For example, a couple of the most notable include Lexus belonging to Toyota and Acura belonging to Honda. One you may or may not have known about is Lincoln. Believe it or not, it is the luxury division of the Ford Motor Company. While Lincoln was started as its own company in the other 1900s, it was acquired by Ford in 1922. While we don’t see a ton of used Lincoln vehicles pass through our inventory, we do occasionally have a model or two for sale here in Manhattan, Kansas.
While Lincoln has had plenty of cars in production through its time on the market, it currently doesn’t have any in production here on the North American market. One of the most iconic vehicles the brand has ever built, however, is the Lincoln Continental. The most recent version of the vehicle was built from 2017 to 2020, so it's certainly possible to see one of these models in stock – or perhaps the Lincoln MKZ or MKS.
When it comes to modern crossover utility vehicles, the Lincoln brand has had entries in three different segments. The MKC was a compact crossover from 2015 to 2019 before it was replaced by the Corsair in 2020. Likewise, the MKX was a midsize crossover introduced in 2006 before being replaced by the Nautilus and joined by the Aviator in 2020. The MKT was a full-size model available between 2010 and 2019.
While the company currently only produces one traditional sport utility vehicle, it might be the most iconic model still in production by the Lincoln brand. We’re talking about the Lincoln Navigator, of course. This full-size traditional SUV has been around since the late ‘90s and it continues to be a popular model for the brand. It was briefly joined in the ‘00s by an SUV version of the Aviator, as well as a couple of pickup trucks.
Naturally, you’re most likely to find models still in production, like the Corsair, Nautilus, Aviator and Navigator. It’s certainly possible for recently discontinued models to pass through our inventory as well, like the MKX, MKT or Continental. Be sure to check out our online inventory to see if what you’re looking for is in stock.
