Just recently Ford made the announcement that they will be releasing the Ford Focus Electric and has received much praise as it will be, “the first all-electric vehicle to achieve a 100 miles per gallon equivalent, MPGe, fuel efficiency rating with seating for five.” Making it the only vehicle in its’ segment with seating for five, as well as having 100 MPGe fuel efficiency. UAW-Ford National Labor Agreement Ratified By Members
At Briggs Supercenter, the premiere used car dealer in Manhattan, KS,, we were very happy to hear that the UAW-Ford employees in the U.S. ratified a new four-year labor agreement by nearly a 2-to-1 margin, a move that will help improve Ford’s competitiveness in the United States. Ford is investing $16 billion in its U.S. operations to design, engineer and produce more new and upgraded vehicles and components by 2015. This includes $6.2 billion in U.S. plants alone, which is going to help quite a bit in the short term and in the long run. (more…)
